A to Z Blog Challenge Day #2 Letter B~ Black Tears A Marchetti Family Novel by Author Angel Nyx

Welcome to Day two of my post in the A to Z Blog Challenge. I’m so glad you came back or if this is your first time being here nice to meet you! Grab a coffee and stick around to chat with me! I’ll be showcasing all the books with my theme of Books by Indie Authors A to Z.

Day 2 is the letter B and I’ve been excited for this one since I started planning this challenge! Today I would like you all to meet Indie Author Angel Nyx bringing us the book Black Tears:A Marchetti Family Novel.

Angel Nyx usually writes in the paranormal shifter romance category with her NOLA series so this one is an unexpected change for her and I’m so glad she decided to make this move! She’s such a talented writer no matter the category and this mafia romance is here to prove it!

Black Tears has all the mafia suspense and dangerous romance you can handle! Giovanni is the oldest son of the Marchetti family and it’s his responsibility to ensure the family strip club gets and stays in the plus. Carly Ballertyne’s son’s father was killed and she must work at the Marchetti family strip club as she is sold to them and Giovanni falls for her, although he knows he shouldn’t. This thrilling story has all the witty banter, sexiness and twists and turns that make it a hit for me! I really loved Gio and Carly’s story and I couldn’t guess what was coming next until it happened. It is very well written and the plot was suspenseful and intriguing. Angel Nyx hit it out of the park with this angsty mafia romance and I’m hopin for book 2! I’m rating this one Four stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and recommend it for anybody who loves Mafia Romance and suspenseful twists and turns. This was a great introduction to the mafia world for Angel and I can’t wait to read the next Marchetti Family book!

As I mentioned earlier Angel Nyx writes mostly paranormal shifter romance. The Nola Shifters Series contains 5 novels and a prequel novella. The first book was released and is called Wild Lillies Book 1 of the Nola Shifters Series. The blurb goes like this:

Since the 27th of October in 2017 Angel Nyx has published 11 novels including the 5 novels of Nola Shifters Series and a Nola Shifters Series prequel novel, The Devils Heir, Whispers of Hope, Queen of Time, and Fire and Desire A 7 Days of Romance Short Story. Besides reading, writing and music Angel loves to game and is a mom too!

Her love for storytelling started at a young age when her mother used to read books to her. Thus beginning a love for not only reading stories but creating her very own. Angels obsession with details and finding mistakes in writing enabled her to start doing proofreading on the side for other Indie Authors as well. What a busy lady! Whew!

Angel loves New Orleans and visits frequently. She enjoys it so much that she based a whole book series there The Nola Series. These books definently capture that New Orleans feeling taking you right to Louisiana.

An interesting fact about the Black Tears A Marchetti Family novel is this little Did You Know hidden in the contents menu of the kindle copy:

“The nursery rhyme that can be found on page 195 is an original nursery rhyme that I wrote for my children when they were babies and sang it to them every night. Now that I have become a grandmother, I sing it to my grandchildren whenever I get the chance.”
