✨ Review of Suicide Notes From Beautiful Girls ✨by Lynn Weingarten ❤️

Title: Suicide Notes From Beautiful Girls (Audiobook Read by Rebekkah Ross) Author: Lynn Weingarten Genre: YA Thriller I rated it: 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Narrator rating: 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Favorite character: June and Sebastian Favorite Quote: “Whatever looks sturdy is actually made of the thinnest of glass. Whatever feels solid could at any moment crackle, crackle, fall down to nothing. It’s so hard to live believing that, but it’s true. It’s so much better to lie to yourself, but I cant. I know how quickly things can go away. How hard it can be to make them come back. You have to clench your jaw so tight you can barely stand it, grind sand between gritted teeth and a fire hot mouth, then wait till it melts, spit out glass, build it all again! Fucking breathe Delia! I have to remember that I am in control. I have to stop being afraid” Delia Chapter 30

Krista’s Review

Wow. Where do I even begin?!? By yelling at Lynn Weingarten for that crazy end twist I asssume! Have you guys read this one yet? Is that where you started? I’m a mess and this is the first time an ending has hit me this hard in awhile!

This story had me captivated and on the edge of my seat the entire time! I love going into books blind knowing just the genre and a brief description. I am so glad I did with this one. The title threw me off until about halfway through this well written novel and then everything started to make sense! Until it didn’t…and then it did again! It was a YA Mystery/Thriller and revolves around two very different types of high school girls who become best friends. A mistake is made and June and Delia drift apart leading to some crazy consequences. Delia fakes her death and June doesn’t believe it is suicide and starts investigating. Delia let’s June in on her secret and convinces her that her reasoning is justified. June gets drug into Delia’s complicated plan to do something she will never forgive herself for. Ultimately June realizes what she’s done and calls Delia out on her lies that persuaded her to do the horrendous things she did. Delia gets upset with her realizations and decides that since she can’t have June, no one can!

This is novel not to be missed. It is well written. The plot is twisted and thorough and kept me on my toes. There are secrets and murders that I didn’t see coming. I was left wanting more of June and Delia and couldn’t believe that was how the book ended! I feel like this author has probably been yelled at a million times by readers for this(in a good way)! Lynn Weingarten knows how to tell a story and make me feel it! I really enjoyed this book and am off to add the rest of her written works to my never ending TBR pile!
