I should probably start this post with the fact that I have found Book Sirens! They are a site where authors post the books they need reviewed and reviewers can apply to review them! Needless to say I’m hooked! I’m amazed at how many books and genres there actually are! The first book I chose on Book Sirens was Broken Promises The OConnells Book 16 by Lorhainne Eckhart.

📖 My Review 📖 :
This book was really well written. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I have never read this author before. I was greatly surprised as I was hooked from the very first chapter. Raine is such a relatable character and her determination to see her daughter and all the emotions that come along with being unjustly locked up for 3 years is something I could feel in my very own heart as I took in these pages. This is a story that really digs into your soul making you wonder how you would feel if you were in the same situation as Eva’s Foster parents Marcus and Charlotte. The book has twists and turns I didn’t see coming, and some I did, and I really enjoyed reading it.
The O Connell’s are the family that I wish I was a part of growing up. I am now hooked on the OConnells and have since returned to Amazon to grab the first three books from this series and I have bought the next in the series The GateKeeper which I am starting this week!! I think I may have found a new favorite author to add to my collection!
