I literally devoured Charlotte and Emerson’s story as quickly as I could tear through the kindle pages and I’m not an annotation type person but I saved so many sexy and sweet quotes. I also bought an audio copy as well because I just had to hear what Emerson and Charlotte sounded like! Praise earned 5 Stars from me and I will forever recommend it to all my spicy smutties! 📖My Review📖 Charlie AKA Charlotte was so relatable for me and I loved her innocent yet curious and sassy personality right from the get go! I enjoyed watching her grow into Charlotte as she learns who she is and what she really wants out of life…and the bedroom! I adored Sophie and the relationship these two sisters have. They are so sweet and reminded me of myself and my own younger brother. I really disliked Charlie’s Mom up until almost the end when she stood up to their controlling close minded father. I absolutely despised Beau, Charlie’s ex boyfriend, up until around that point of the book as well. I found him childish, ignorant and immature. I had a love hate relationship with Emerson Grant who is not only Charlie’s Boss and Beau’s Dad but also the owner of the Salacious Players Club. I certainly wanted to shake this man at some points of the story! In the end I was absolutely head over heels for him though and he has since been neatly placed in my book boyfriend harem. His friends are also funny and I enjoyed visiting the sex club and meeting them all but I especially loved Eden! A Smart and Sassy little vixen that one is! I can’t wait to go further into this world with the rest of this series! I gave Praise 5 Huge Stars as I really could not put this book down! I devoured this forbidden romance and can not wait to dive into book 2! Emerson and Charlotte’s chemistry is off the wall. Their secret relationship makes things that much more taboo and fun. The Salacious Players Club sounds like an amazing place to have some fun and I would love to live forever within their glamorous fantasy filled rooms! They have a freaking throne! Who wouldn’t love that?!?
